Title:    Wireless Internet Telephony

Third and fourth generation wireless networks will be increasingly based
on packet technology.  Carriers deploying these networks are looking for
similar efficiencies as those desired by wired carriers:  more efficient
network operations by using a single network to carry voice, data, and
multimedia traffic.  As part of this effort, Internet Telephony must be
supported in a wireless mobile environment.  In this talk I will discuss
issues in signaling and transport for wireless Internet Telephony and
related projects ongoing at Bell Labs.
